But what if you have an earache?  Or a cut that needs a few stitches?  Or you or a child have an urgent — but non-emergency — healthcare need after your doctor's regular business hours?  In these cases, a convenient option for Bright Health Physicians patients may be Bright Health Physicians Urgent Care and After-Hours Care.

 

The minor illnesses and injuries treated at these locations include:

  • Asthma
  • Cold & flu symptoms
  • Contusions (bruises)
  • Cough
  • Fractures
  • Infections
  • Migraine headaches
  • Mild abdominal pain
  • Mild lacerations (cuts)
  • Minor burns

Routine x-ray and lab services are available on-site. Urgent care and after-hours care does not require prior authorization. Patients are seen on a walk-in basis (no appointment is necessary).

The co-payment for after-hours care is the same as the co-payment for a doctor's office visit.
